So it was back in 1993, when Kivotos existed as a collection of luxury villas, and the owner placed an exquisite antique French mirror in front of a gleaming white wall; and in doing so reached an artistic epiphany, a moment of enlightenment.

This was the birth of a concept centered around providing luxury private beachside accommodation completely harmonized with the wondrous natural environment of Mykonos, with its incandescent golden light and sensuous cerulean tones, and to couple this with bespoke services and the kind of exclusivity and hospitality to which royalty, rock-stars, tycoons are regularly accustomed.
